You enjoy the journey. I take care of the rest.
Meaningful, memorable travel, planned from the first conversation to the moment you’re home.
Three simple steps
A complimentary consultation
We begin with a conversation about where you’d love to go and, more importantly, why. I listen for the details that make a trip feel like yours, down to the wish you haven’t said out loud yet.
Your custom proposal
A proposal built around why you’re traveling and everything you’ve asked for, with a few hand-picked options for hotels, activities and dining, each with my personal notes. Once you say yes, I book every detail.
The Plan, and support while you travel
Your trip arrives two ways: a personalized travel app on your phone and a printed itinerary for your bag. While you’re away, I’m a message away for anything you need.

With you at every step.
While we plan
Planning calls as your trip takes shape, with updated plans to review together. Along the way I share what I know: the best time of year to go, the neighborhood worth staying in, the table to book before it fills.
Before you go
A walkthrough before departure, over a call or in person, to go through every day of your itinerary, answer your questions and add any final requests. You leave knowing the plan, which makes everything easier on the go.
The days before takeoff
While you’re packing and running last-minute errands, I reconfirm every reservation, transfer and booking, so it’s all set before you are.
While you travel
I’m available around the clock for changes, new ideas or anything unexpected. If something needs fixing, I work directly with my partners to sort it out while you carry on enjoying your trip.
After you’re home
A follow-up once you’re back, to hear what you loved and what you’d change, so every trip that follows is even better.
A hotel, a journey, or the whole year.

Questions, answered.
Why work with a travel advisor?
You have one person who knows every detail of your trip and handles it from start to finish. I recommend only places I trust, drawing on firsthand knowledge and a network of destination experts. Through my hotel partners, you also receive perks you can’t book on your own, such as room upgrades, early check-in, late checkout, breakfast and resort credits.
What if something changes while I’m traveling?
I take care of it. If your flight is delayed, I let your driver and hotel know you’ll arrive late. If a tour is canceled for weather, I find you something else to enjoy. If your room isn’t what was promised, I contact the hotel directly. Because I work with these partners regularly, things get resolved quickly. You have a direct line to me throughout your trip.
What will I receive?
A confirmation after each booking. Before you leave, a day-by-day itinerary with every reservation, address and confirmation number in one place, in a digital version and a print-ready version. If anything changes, you get an updated copy.
What concierge services do you offer?
Hard-to-get dinner reservations, private guides and drivers, theater and event tickets, spa appointments, and celebration touches such as champagne on arrival, flowers or a birthday cake. I also share your preferences with each hotel ahead of time, whether that’s a quiet room, a pillow preference or dietary needs.
Why are hotel-only bookings complimentary?
The hotel pays me directly, so you get my guidance and VIP perks at no extra cost. Rates are typically the same as booking direct.
What is Fora, and how do you work with them?
Terroir Travel is my own business. I book through Fora Travel, a full-service travel agency with partner hotels and suppliers around the world. You work with me directly, from the first call to the trip home, and Fora gives me the booking systems, partner perks and industry support of a larger agency behind the scenes.
Who do I pay?
In most cases, hotels, cruise lines and tour partners charge your card directly, just as if you booked yourself. The planning fee is the only charge from Terroir Travel. Before anything is booked, I’ll walk you through what’s due, to whom and when.
Do we need to meet in person?
Not at all. Most planning happens by phone, video and message, so I can plan your trip wherever you live. If you’re nearby and would like to meet for coffee, I’d love that too.
How far ahead should I start planning?
The earlier the better, especially for holidays, peak season, sought-after hotels and hard-to-get tables. Three to six months ahead works well for most trips, and nine to twelve for celebrations, groups and busy seasons. Short notice? Ask anyway. I’ll see what I can do.
Do you plan group trips and events?
Yes, and I love them. Milestone birthdays, family reunions, destination weddings, executive retreats and friends’ getaways. My background is in events and experiential marketing, so I plan the dinners, the toasts and the timing as carefully as the hotels. Groups of eight or more have their own rates.
Can you help with a trip I’ve already started booking?
Of course. If you’ve booked flights or a hotel already, I’ll plan around them and fill in the rest: restaurants, experiences, transfers and the day-by-day itinerary.
Do you recommend travel insurance?
For international and larger trips, always. I’ll explain your options so you can choose coverage that suits the trip and your peace of mind.
What if I need to cancel?
Each hotel, cruise line and tour partner has its own cancellation terms. I’ll point out every deadline before you book, so there are no surprises.
Will I still earn my loyalty points?
Yes. I add your loyalty numbers to every booking, and partner hotels often add perks such as upgrades, breakfast and resort credits.
Can I use my points or miles for flights?
Yes. I can help you find the best redemption options, but the booking itself needs to be completed by you, through your own frequent flyer or credit card account. Award tickets can only be booked by the account holder. Once you’ve booked, send me the confirmation and I’ll add your flights to your itinerary and plan everything else around them.
Can you book flights too?
Yes. I work with partners who have direct relationships with the airlines, so if plans change or a flight is disrupted, it’s taken care of for you. Prefer to book yourself? Send me the confirmation and I’ll add it to your itinerary.
There’s more to see.
